First-ever theatrical performance performed by Chinese first generation seniors at OBA Theater, Amsterdam. Kris will make her debut as musical creator in this project.
An original theater project reflecting authentic stories of Chinese immigrants in Amsterdam. For the first time, this group of Chinese elderly will stand under the spotlight, share their immigration experiences with the public in the Netherlands. In collaboration with Theatre du Poulet, Hong Kong composer Jason Liu, Hong Kong lyricists Yves Wong, Chris Yeung and April Chiu.
An original theater project with original songs created based on daily snapshots, struggles and stories from the first generation Chinese immigrants in Amsterdam.

Tailoring the content of workshop according to the ability of the group, teaching elderly participants singing to improve their mental and physical health.

Enhancing their sense of awareness to observe and listen, building a safe and supportive environment and encouraging them to express themselves in a respectful way.
